Relative density is 1.77. Refractive index is 1.521. Low toxicity, LD50 (rat, orally) is 3000mG/kG. It is irritating. Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as a fertilizer for various soils and crops. It can also be used in textile, leather, medicine and so on.
